Comments: Served C 2/505 May ‘68 to May ‘69. I remember Plt Leader Keith Ball and CO Capt. Beckman. There were others, but their names escape me. An event I remember was working with A co. searching for a downed helicopter near Phu Bai. My squad found the chopper and the pilots were saved.

Comments: I was with B Trp 1/17th Cav 69. Was supply clerk when they let me be. Otherwise I was replacement gunner on various APC,s. SST. Torez was my boss at the time. I do remember the company clerk was killed by ARVN soldiers while comming back from the PX in Tonson Nuk (spelling ?) A bunch of us got a duce1/2 and was headed after them, and the CO sent the MP’s to stop us. Does anyone else remember this. When 82nd went home, I was sent to the 45th Surg. Hosp. in Tay Ninh. I was proud to be an All American, All The Way.

Comments: Just a line to say hello I was part of (3rd Brigade 82nd) an artillery clearing house in Nam in 69. A 4 man group attached to the infantry that kept track of friendly locations. Artillery units needed our ok before they could fire support. A few out there knew my artillery clearance initials “uniform sierra november echo mike”

Comments: Just wanted to say hi to all. Like many other’s, my second tour was with the 82nd. I was with A Btry, 321 Arty when we were put on alert for Nam. I was CQ that night and was the one who recieved the call. I spent my time divided between A Btry and Hq Btry working in the FDC. To all you ‘grunts’, I was and I always will be proud that we gave you the support when needed. I don’t see many ‘cannon cockers’ out in the world, nor do I see many write in to the different websites. There is a lot to be proud of, start writing!!!!
