Comments: Saw the message from Doc Hibben, medic for the 1st platoon, B/1/17, the platoon I served in as well. Last I was able to determine, Ditt (Don Dittenhofer) lives in Arizona – Not sure about McCord. I have flicks of both and of Hiben too. Ditt and I spent a good deal of time together when we got back to the world – have some funny stories. Ditt and I worked hard together the bridge ambush going into Hue, at Chau Chu where we lost Bennett and Baily from the 2nd platoon, and during those hot days and nights working out of the Panthers, FSB Birmingham and FSB Bastogne.
